TRUEreq is a web hosted, Java-based client-server application
that runs on any platform be it Windows, Mac, Linux or UNIX.
Only Windows clients are fully supported at this time, but we
will be adding other platforms in the coming months. |

What are the system requirements?
A. The optimal Windows
system configuration is:
- Windows 98 or higher
- 128 MB RAM or greater recommended
- 50 MB of available hard disk space
- DSL or better. 56 kb/s is supported although the connection
will be slow.

How can I input my requirements in TRUEreq?
A. Requirements can be
added to TRUEreq three ways:
- Created new by manually entering the requirement via
the easy to use TRUEreq Requirements Tree.
- Imported from a standard CSV (Comma Separated Values)
formatted file.
- Entered, by your customers/partners, via an outward facing
custom web form that is connected to a user-definable folder
inside your TRUEreq Workspace.

How do I store and access my product information and requirements?
A. TRUEreq provides centralized
forum for all your product information, requirements, and scheduling
targets via the TRUEreq Requirements Tree. This shared environment
is organized in a familiar folder-based tree structure, and
supports drag-and-drop for easy organization. Once a requirement
is added to the Requirements Tree, users can then attach other
related items to that requirement, such as surveys, rankings,
reports or external documents. |

TRUEreq is completely customizable to your needs, nomenclature
and established ways of working. For example, requirements can
be defined by users as "complex" or "simple"
and set in templates that manage these different types of requirements

A. TRUEreq provides several
ways to sort and prioritize your deliverables.
- You can use the drag-and-drop features of the Requirements

prioritize requirements.
- TRUEreq's ranking system allows you to set up a list of
products, requirements, or issues, and compare how different
users rank them in order of importance .

Requirements versioning can be accomplished via TRUEreq primarily
by sequencing and naming taxonomy. Storage and file management
via the Requirements Tree also facilitate requirements versioning. |

product flow? A.
Via TRUEreq workflow controls, an administrator establishes
a "Phase-Driven Design Process," wherein each requirement
is phased, scheduled and sequenced for a seamless progression
through product requirements for optimal flow. Phase markers
are then standardized for new requirements as they are nested
under existing deliverables. |

A. Team members who submit
new requirements and requests are automatically assigned as
owners of these deliverables. Administrator can also assign
or edit ownership and deadlines - and to assign supervisor signoff

Change requests are captured via the communications tools. Both
the comments and message boards and the issues environments
can be used for change requests. |

How can I track the progress of my product with TRUEreq?

records and stores all product information entered into the
product site. All changes to the database are tracked in the
background, and recorded in a log. Dynamic reporting is available
at every step of the design and execution process as is a graphical
overview via the executive dashboard. For users, a notification
system as well as email notifications, keep everyone on track. |

How can I integrate TRUEreq with other product management and
development tools? A.
TRUEreq includes a bi-directional XML API for complete interoperability
with other applications. TRUEreq also supports a standard CSV
format for importing, as well as HTML exporting for reports. |

How do I manage content access with TRUEreq?
A. There are three levels
of access that can be assigned via the system:
- Administrator: These users can perform all actions in
the Workspace, including adding other users with Administrative
privileges.
- Normal: These users can perform most actions in TRUEreq.
Normal users cannot add or edit users or groups, and cannot
edit or delete an item unless they own it. Most of your
users should be in this category.
- Guest: These users have Read Only privileges. They can
view your Workspace but cannot delete, edit or add any information
.
