To get Truereq running at your company, all users will first need to download the Truereq client and install it on their computers.

Downloading and installing Truereq

1. Go to the URL provided to you to download the Truereq client.
2. Once it has finished downloading, locate the compressed download file and double-click it to install the Truereq software. You can accept all defaults during the installation, or you can choose your own options, such as which folder you want the application to install in. A Truereq item will be added to your Start Menu, Programs list, or Desktop, depending on which option you chose during the installation.
3. Launch Truereq by selecting it from your Start Menu or Programs list, or by double-clicking on the Truereq application icon on your Desktop.
   Note: Every time you launch Truereq, the client software checks for updates on our system and automatically downloads and installs them for you.
4. When the Truereq client starts, you will be asked to enter your Workspace, username, and Password. The Truereq client will remember the last person to log in on that computer and auto-enter it.
   • Workspace: Where your product requirement information is stored. Truereq uses the Company name you entered in the registration page as the name for your Workspace.
   • Username: Your username for the Truereq Workspace. The first user registered in a Workspace will have Administrative privileges, and can create other users, including other Administrators.
   • Password: The first time you log in to Truereq, use the temporary password emailed to you by Truereq or assigned by your Administrator. Please change this password by going to the Edit dropdown menu, clicking User, and then entering a new password.
5. Once your Workspace is loaded, you can start using Truereq!
