Configuring Your Workspace

Your Truereq Workspace is available to all users who have the Truereq client application installed and who have been added to the Workspace. Any user with Administrative privileges can add new users. The number of users that can be added to your company's Workspace will be the number of users you chose (including yourself) when you purchased the Truereq service. This includes Administrator and Normal users (you can add as many Guest users as you wish). This number can be increased at any time by contacting your Truereq Customer Relations Representative and purchasing additional user licenses.

How to add a group

You can also add groups to your Workspace, and assign users to those groups. For example, Customer Service could be one such group. Groups are a useful way to organize users, but are not required.

  1. Choose Add Group from the Add menu. Alternatively, you can click on the group icon in the Icon Bar.
  2. Enter the name of the group, then click the OK button.

How to add a user

  1. From the Add menu, choose User. Alternatively, click on the user icon in the icon bar.
  2. There are two tab cards of information for each user: General and Personal. Click on the tabs at the top to switch between the cards to enter information.
  3. If you have created groups, choose a group for that user from the group dropdown menu.
  4. Choose a license type for the user.
There are three types of licenses for users in Truereq:
    • Administrator - These users can perform all actions in the Workspace, including adding other users with Administrative privileges.
    • Normal - These users can perform most actions in Truereq. Normal users cannot add or edit users or groups, and cannot edit or delete an item unless they own it. Most of your users should be in this category.
    • Guest - These users have Read Only privileges. They can view your Workspace but cannot delete, edit or add any information.
  5. Once you are done entering information about the user, click OK to add him to your Workspace.

Once you have added a user with a username and password, that user can now log on to your Truereq Workspace.
