Jonathan C. Miller
Founder and CEO
Jonathan C. Miller brings over 15 years of experience building software
development enterprises to Truereq. Miller has been a key player
in a number of successful start-up ventures helping build over $5B
USD in stakeholder value. Prior to Truereq Miller held the positions
of Vice President of Product Management and later Chief Community
Officer at PeopleLink a leading provider of online collaboration
and customer relationships management software. As Chief Operating
Officer Miller lead the growth of The Fortunecity Network from obscurity
to being the 26th largest property on the Internet. As an early
member of the Flycast Communications team he managed the product
and marketing efforts that launched the pioneering web advertising
company. Miller attended the Ohio State University where he studied
Finance, Actuarial Science and Computer Science.
Steve Maloney
Vice President of Sales
Steve brings nearly twenty years of software sales experience to
his role of VP of Sales to TrueReq. Prior to joining TrueReq, Steve
held the position of VP of Sales at Intershop, a world leading e-commerce
software provider, where he was responsible for re-building their
sales team into a focused direct selling organization, building
new revenues in the Americas. Steve is responsible for developing
and executing a multi-channel sales strategy, build a world-class
sales organization and drive revenue through closing enterprise
sales. Steve has held sales and sales management positions with
several leading software companies such as Microsoft and Cognos,
and holds a Masters Degree in Economics from California State University.
James Waldrup
Vice President of Engineering
In 1989 James Waldrup began contributing to both the IRC server
and MudOS, both of which are among the world's most popular tools
for online community discussion and interaction. Prior to joining
Truereq Waldrop served as Chief Technical Officer at SF Interactive
where he was responsible for ensuring that all clients were using
technology as efficiently and intelligently as possible in their
marketing efforts. Prior to his work at SFI, Waldrup co-founded
Construct, a San Francisco-based design and engineering firm which
kept itself on the cutting edge of web development by combining
aggressive engineering and rigorous design while staying precisely
tuned to market and customer needs. As co-founder, Waldrop served
on Construct's Board of Directors for five years and was heavily
involved in managing all aspects of the company's operations, with
a focus on company process and development of customized technology
in support of it. In 1995 he joined Ubique, an Israeli company which
developed software to enable real-time web conferencing and which
was acquired by America Online. Waldrup began building websites
professionally in 1992, and in 1994 joined Slip.Net, an early Bay
Area ISP.
John Fruin
Vice President of Finance
John has over 25 years of senior management experience in magazines,
software publishing and Internet companies. As CEO of Pinpoint Publishing,
publisher of cooking and recipe management software, he led the
turn around effort that culminated in the sale of the company. As
CFO at Macromind and ArtToday, he participated in extensive venture
capital and M&A activity. Mr. Fruin is a graduate of the Kellogg
School of Management at Northwestern University.
Devin McKinney
Vice President of Product & Operations
Devin McKinney has been a significant contributor in a broad range
of technology companies for over fourteen years, including Tibco,
Softbook Press, AOL and GO Corporation. He was founder of VBlue
International, a successful web design firm with customers such
as Compuserve, PointCast, Interval Research, Sun Microsystems, Frame
Technologies and the Food & Agricultural Organization of the United
Nations in Rome, Italy. At SoftBook Press, a pioneer in the ebook
field, he built and staffed the Professional Services group providing
enterprise support for a secure web-based document management system,
managing domestic and international installations for Nokia, Siemens
AG, and Medtronics. He has an MBA in Finance from San Francisco
State University, and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.
