Today's attempts to provide solutions for product management
are either Document Management Solutions that create an unwieldy amount of
up-to-date data and/or Project-Scheduling solutions that enable
micro-management of an infinite amount of misdirected resources. Most
companies do attempt to reach out to the consumer with some type of Customer
Relationship Management or Knowledge Base solution, but these approaches are
focused on business filters, rules and processes that dilute the true voice
of the consumer. Stand-alone or any combination of these approaches still
results in companies merely making the same old mistakes - just more
efficiently and in shorter periods of time.
